LE BUZZ | KRISTEN STEWART FACE OF UPCOMING CHANEL CAMPAIGN

We’ve all been wondering what and if Kristen Stewart’s face would be gracing any campaign since Nicolas Ghesquière’s depart from Balenciaga. Obviously, time has passed to heel that wound, but it seemed at times that Stewart was floundering in the sea of designers. From sporting Victoria Beckham on day time talk shows to looking disinterested at the Met Ball in Stella McCartney to now cracking a smile (or smirk) with Karl Lagerfeld in Chanel, it’s always been uncertain which house would pick her up next. Until now!

Karl Lagerfeld has chosen Kristen Stewart to be the face of the upcoming campaign of the 2013/14 Métiers d’Art Paris‐Dallas collection – unveiled last night at a special show in Fair Park, Dallas, Texas.  To follow the photographical theme of recent campaigns, 2013/14 Métiers d’Art Paris‐Dallas collection will be shot by Karl Lagerfeld and expected to be release in May 2014.

Kristen Stewart,  is most famous for her roles in ‘Panic Room (2002) alongside Jodie Foster,‘Into The Wild’ (2007), and the never-ending  ‘Twilight’ series with ex-beau, Robert Pattinson. Currently, she is starring in French director Olivier Assayas’ latest film ‘Sils Maria’ alongside Juliette Binoch and Chloe Moretz, set to release in 2014.

CHANEL’s Fair Park, Dallas show was also attended by Lauren Hutton, Geraldine Chapman, Lily Collins, Zoe Kravitz, Dakota Fanning, along with members of the media.
