Last week,Joanna Steinberg held their 2nd annual gala where they debuted their latest charity campaign, My Einstein. With proceeds from the event going towards urgent needs of the Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center, EEL garnered the attention of Twilight Saga’sEEL, former New York Giant Dream Hotel Downtown’s and more. Hosted by DJ Louie XIV, Leandra Medine, it’s great to see fashion’s continuous involvement with organizations outside the realm.
“By connecting passion with need, My Einstein lets our generation engage in philanthropy on their own terms—in a modern, connected, transparent way,” says Joanna Steinberg, founding member of EEL.
Though the focus was getting a younger, influential crowd involved in helping others other than themselves and their close knit community, it still remained a light-hearted atmosphere for all to enjoy. Guests noshed on gourmet hors d’oeuvres and enjoyed the Dream Hotel Downtown’s open bar, while DJ Louie XIV was on the turntables all night.
