You’re totally an Aquarius, Aries rising

“What’s your sign?” asked every creepy person who thought they were an astrologer because of the horoscopes in the back of magazines, from the 90s on. Yes, including me. I would ask anyone and everyone their sign. My desire for needing to know, was so deep, till this day when I ask my mum for my time of birth she responds, “Tillie! Are you still doing that astrology nonsense?!”

And because I much rather memorize my time of birth than be scolded for even looking a few seconds too long at astral anything, I’ve not only gotten so deep into this world, I have a listing of my faves and why. Nope, it’s definitely not who you think.

The other day AOL Build had THE Susan Miller on to discuss her new book The Year Ahead: FORECAST for the Second Half of 2016 into 2017. She didn’t really delve as much in to the book as I thought she would, but she did spill the astrological tea on Gigi and Zayn, Kim and Kanye, and Tom and Taylor. Plus, she gave some insight to you Libras and Sagis out there. [You can watch the entire session on the AOL Build archive or you can watch the clips, I recorded, on this video down below.]

But if you feel burned by Susan due to that brouhaha that happened eons ago, and have been on the search for somebody new… here are a few others I go and/or have gone to for the Libra scoop.

  1. Madalyn Aslan – I do like her. She offers dailies through an outsourced person, Alan Bridges [who I think is fab!], as well as monthlies. The previous month’s scopes and current dailies are free, but the current month is not. Not sure why you really need the previous month, but to each their own. There is a subscription cost of $5.95 per month as well as a yearly option. Going for the yearly is most cost smart, but for what you get, I’m sure missing a coffee for one day, once a month is fine too. 4 out of 5 stars
  2. Claudia Vannini – I’ve actually worked with her in the past – she was an absolute delight, and her scopes are insanely spot on. There are monthly, daily, and chart readings. If you want the fluff and nonsense, keep going wherever you are going. If you want truth so real, it’ll have you shaking in your boots, then she is the one. Past predictions were so valid, I stopped reading them and just translated them. Scopes come in English and Portuguese as she’s based in Brazil. 4.5 out of 5 stars
  3. Susan Miller – Susan was my GIRL! I would be on her site the second she posted for the month. Truly, no one could stop me. It was so extreme, I would copy and paste it into a word doc, so I could read it on the subway. Nothing would pull me away, until things went completely left. There was just so much fogginess, and seemingly outright lies behind her game slipping that it just felt she’d spread herself too thin. Which is great that she was working on other ventures and getting her name out there, but something had to be left behind, right? I will admit, she came across very in-the-know in-person. Definitely give her another shot if you were on the fence about returning. 3 out of 5 stars.
  4. Bridgett Walther – Now when Susan was slipping, we moved on to Bridgett who I had heard of from someone years ago. She’s so detailed that she even provides times. YES, actual time ranges during the day where whatever she said would take place, it did. And it wasn’t like 9:01 PM to 2:3PM the next day. No. It was 9:01PM to 9:38PM. I can’t tell you how many times things happened. From her, I moved on to Madalyn because the posting got sloppy as well. Actually, if I were going to describe it… it was like her writing got Chablis mouth. You could sense something was going on in her personal life, that she just needed to put something up to not upset or lose her readers. And let me tell you, scope readers get crazier than Taylor Swift fans when they hear you don’t like her. They will drag you through the streets, hog-tied and all. It’s not cute. If I rated her from what I remember her as, she definitely gets a 4 out of 5, maybe even 4.5. But I left for my reasons, so give her a 3 out of 5.
  5. Saba – ok. So she’s not an astrologer, but a Turkish Coffee Reader. You would have to be in the New York, Manhattan area to see her. This woman…. You can’t touch her. SHE is realer than Fin Tutuola on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. I met her at an event for work and the tea, pardon me, coffee she spilled left me thirsty for more. Listen, I can’t even go into detail, because even thinking about it gives me chills, but she gets a 5 out of 5 without even thinking twice. Seriously, look her up!

Here are a few other popular places to hit up, if the five above don’t tickle your fancy [not sure why they wouldn’t, but whatevs.]

AstroTwins – identical twin astrologers? Umm, yes! I think they are actually called AstroStyle, but I remember them as twin sisters who are astrologists. Or maybe they went through a name rebranding? I don’t know.

Café Astrology – natal chart, birthday and yearly forecasts, daily and monthly scopes… they have it all. Natal charts are really interesting, so I think doing it with a professional for the first time is best. But if you’re not that into it, doing it online with CA is great too. I just prefer someone to explain it to me the first go round. There are certain things that online just doesn’t provide.

Astrology.com – I really think this was the first site I ever went to about the astros over 10 years ago. It’s still up, so give them a shot. Can’t remember how good they were, but they’ve been there from the beginning

If you know of others that you frequent, tell me! Always looking to discover new people.

Until Mercury Retrograde,
