TRÈSTIQUE IN MY BEAUTY BAG

This year I made a vow to wear makeup more often. Not because society tells me I should, but I want to. I used to wear it everyday in high school, but once I moved to college, I started slacking. Occasionally I would make the time to put a little mascara on here and there, but nothing like the high-pigmented shades with perfect cat-eye worn years ago.

Now, while on this mission to implement new old habits into my life, I’ve discovered ways to introduce them wisely – trèStiQue!

TrèStiQue is like the grown up version of a beginner set to makeup. You know when you get to that age and your mum buys you all-in-one kit of beauty musts? It’s like that, but it’s functional, well performing products. Like you won’t purchase an eye shadow that is so cheaply manufacture one needs a primer base to even see the hue. The colors are rich and long lasting, but can be made subtle dependent on your application technique.Screen-Shot-2016-02-18-at-12.07.40-PM

Each item has a sleek design with hidden additives for easy travel and multiple capabilities. The makeup crayons and pencils with the built-in trèSwitch tools twist on/off to be refilled with balm, smudgers (for eyeliner), brushes, oil-blotters and sponges. I actually took some of the items with me to Sundance to try out. And due to their small cylindrical shape, they wound up being the best items to keep in my handbag. There was no re-application necessary, plus I never felt like I was wearing anything on my face. Which is what you want when you’re in a climate your skin is not yet used to.

Tomorrow, trèStiQue is launching two new product kits online – Essential 8 Set and a Mini Essential Set – both including everything necessary to beat your face on the go. If you want to purchase things individually, you still can of course, but, like, why?
