RUNWAY REPORT DANIELLA KALLMEYER A/W 2012 COLLECTION

Photo-1

Hallucinogenic Suit Rave: Daniella Kallmeyer brought late 80s culture to the 21stcentury New York runways. Her A/W 2012 Collection was reminiscent of the heyday of rave intertwined with early 90s suiting; where asymmetrical lines, boxy jackets and pantyhose were an outfit must-have.

Trend: Kallmeyer’s detailed shoulder stitching, asymmetrical lines, back cut-outs, holographic prints and patent leather accents were key elements that set this collection apart. As most ensembles were paired with sheer black pantyhose including the slacks, others were paired with handbags – a fur clutch, a black holographic clutch and patent leather backpack handbag to be exact.
