Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, or properly known, Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of Her other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith, celebrated her 90th birthday this past Thursday.

As the longest reigning British monarch surpassing the reign of her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria, how does one honor 90 glorious years of life? You can have Annie Leibowitz capture shots of what you love the most including your loyal corgies. You can dine with global heads of foreign countries. You can even go outside and have thousands your country people shower you with unsolicited gifts, well wishes, and love. But what about us common folk who want to participate as well?

Well Duane Park Patisserie in the Tribeca area of New York has created homemade petit fours inspired by the Queen’s British roots. Infused with Boodles Mulberry Gin, with notes of raspberries and currants is reminiscent for culinary English traditions these delights are available in 4 and 12-piece for $18 and $35.

It’s been so beautiful these past couple of days. These treats would make the perfect addition to teatime or the dessert portion of a picnic in the park.
