Utilizing the 100% made in Scotland knitwear and Italian designs inspired by the late Princess Grace of Monaco, this collection focused primarily on her style from in the most relaxed of settings. The title ‘Princess Grace: More than an image’ derives from a quote that the princess gave to Time magazine in 1955, when still known as actress Grace Kelly, “I don’t want to dress up a picture with just my face”.

From the heel height to the button detail to the color contrast detail on the v-neck of the dress, the students didn’t falter when replicating the style of H.S.H Princess Grace of Monaco. Though there aren’t many royals left to recreate such classic, sophisticated fashion, it’s always reassuring to see Central Saint Martins is grooming designers that know the value of fashion history.
