Celebrity hairstylist Robert Vetica created the S-wave coif Daisy Ridley wore for the first premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in Tokyo. To kick-off this epic press tour, Vetica chose a style that would play up her silk Chanel dress by going “chic, modern, fresh, and ageless.”  Ah, c’est vraiment Chanel moderne, n’est-ce pas?

How-to: Start by applying Leonor Greyl Mousse Au Lotus Volumatrice to wet hair to ensure “the hair does not fall flat to her head and lose its unique shape.”

Using a medium-sized round boar bristled brush, blow the hair dry. Vetica emphasizes using a firm grip so that you can really control the sculpting of the hair.

“I then took a ¾ inch curling iron, curling just the ends of the hair using mild-medium heat. I sprayed each section with Leonor Greyl Condition Naturelle Heat Protecting Styling Spray to protect the hair and add hold to the shape I would be creating with the iron.”

Next, “I combed her hair in the shape most flattering to her, while also keeping it modern and not too outdated and costumey. I set the look with clips and used Leonor Greyl Laque Souple Light to Medium Hold Hairspray for hold, as it set.”

After 20 minutes, remove the pins and starting on the left side of the hair, use Leonor Greyl Eclat Naturel on the finger to roll and mold the hair to the look you see here.

For the finishing touch,  dab L’Huile de Leonor Greyl oil to smooth out the hair and give it that bit of shine. Et voila!
