BEAUTY REVIEW | CLAYSPRAY

Last week, in a private suite in the Mandarin Hotel, we discovered Clayspray, the world’s first clay emulsion in a spray. So many new beauty products are popping up on the market today. Everyday it’s a constant gimmick of something that works for every skin type, but as we often forget, not every beauty product is meant for everyone. I’ll repeat – Not every beauty product is meant for everyone.

During the preview, we discovered the story behind the Clayspray innovators, how it hasn’t been touched until dispensed by the consumer, the unique bottle technologies ensuring the pump or clay doesn’t dry out and the importance of utilizing specific sections of millions of year old Earth deposits.  Afterwards, Upper East Side esthetician and owner of Klara Beauty Lab, Klara Chrzuszcz figured out the best mask solution for my skin, she went to town. My chin was mattified, my T-Zone was toned, my cheeks were pore refined and the entire look wascomfort misted pre and post treatment.

The end result? Skin that glowed without the excessive amount oil additive from extra ingredients that lasted the remainder of the day – the facial was at 3pm and I went to bed at 2am – taught skin that didn’t feel as though you just went under the nice, and an overall refreshed look. It’s not an everyday treatment, by any means, but it’s a nice way to pamper yourself at home, and receive spa like results.

Available in 6 different masks for face, scalp and body, and 2 hydrating mists, Clayspray starts at $59.95 at Beauty Habit (more retailers coming soon), as well as a treatment at Klara Beauty Lab.
