Banana Republic Milly launch a limited edition collection for Banana Republic. Inspired by the Hamptons summer lifestyle, Michelle Smith has merged Banana Republic’s modern look on ready to wear classics with her iconic prints and patterns. “Michelle’s keen sense of color, print and pattern are the perfect complement to Banana Republic, and her Hamptons-chic style is a new take on aspirational summer dressing for our consumers,” says Banana Republic Creative Director and Executive Vice President of Design, Simon Kneen.

Just in time for summer, this capsule collection will contain more than 60 pieces of women’s and men’s – yes, I did just say men’s! – apparel and accessories including maxi dresses, totes, shorts and scarves, ranging from $24.50 to $175. This will be Milly’s first foray into the world of menswear, but from the sketches I doubt it will the last. “This was my first experience designing menswear, which was a cinch with Simon’s expertise. It’s a very positive, happy collection and I think the colors and patterns really capture the modern spirit of summer,” says Michelle Smith, Founder and Designer, Milly by Michelle Smith
