Australian Snowboarding gold-medalist, Torah Bright continues Torah Bright Series with Roxy.
This famed athlete is a champion in her own right. Being the only person to attempt to qualify for all 3 disciplines during the 2014 Winter Olympics – the half-pipe, slopestyle, and snowboard cross. Not only is she an Olympic gold-medalist, she also has an ESPY, Australian Medal of Honor, 2 X-Game Golds, 2 World Titles, 2 Dew Tour Golds, along other things. But to be completely frank, I’m more proud she’s a woman accomplishing so many achievements especially since I know nothing about snowboarding. If you asked me anything about the sport you’d come to the conclusion that this chick has no credentials, of any sort, to write about boarding. But ask me anything about fashion and you’d think I’m a freaking Rhodes Scholar. Hence why we’re madly in love with this collaboration with Torah Bright for Roxy.
The collection seems to pay homage to the persona that Torah portrays – feminine but with an edge – taking all professional endeavors seriously. Bright apparently was hands-on in the creation of this line having chosen designs, materials and color swatches throughout, making the collection as creatively hers as many designers you see during fashion week
