TRAVEL + LEISURE GLOBAL BAZAAR PREVIEW

photo-3Today was the press preview of one of the most internationally themed events – Travel + Leisure Global Bazaar. This global bazaar commenced with belly dancers entertaining the waiting line as they entered the venue. Taking place at the spacious Lexington Avenue Armory, it felt like being on a first class ride to everywhere.

My first stop the Delta Sky Lounge, where I enjoyed a glass of white wine and relaxed in their sleekly designed lounge area equipped with 3 prong and USB outlets. From there, I moseyed over to Patrón Tequila’s booth, mixed a wild berry mojito and was gifted my very own muddler, for all my hard work.

Inspired by the evening markets in Bangkok and sponsored by over 10 tourist related resorts and boards, this is family and 21 + oriented event is filled with the luxuries of life. From a book reading by Katie Couric to Easter Island Natives to a Moroccan Spice Market to an indoor Zipline, there is something for everyone and enough exotic areas to capture every moment

The two hour preview was way too short for me to catch everything, especially as entry started late, but I look forward to enjoying tomorrow, while not on the work clock. Still not convinced it’s worth lugging your umbrella around as you enjoy the taste of the world? These photos and list of activities will change your mind:
