REEBOK CLASSIC LAUNCH THE VENTILATOR OG

SS15_VentilatorOG_M45717_mirror (1)Reebok Classic launched the Ventilator OG this past Saturday with Kendrick Lamar starring in the ad campaign. Originally released back in 1990, the Ventilator running shoe infused Hexalite technology to provide more comfort and shock absorption for a faster, lighter run. The lugged outsole was designed for on and off-road traction, while the archbridge was strategically placed for maximum motion control.

Obviously, decades later (25 to be exact… but who’s really counting?) hundreds of shoes have taken the place of the original Ventilator in the running realm due to further advancements in health sciences and technologies, but you can’t deny that this shoe has major street cred. The classic design may not be the choice of footwear for the New York City Marathon, but the Ventilator OG Pack launches in the three original colorways – chalk/grey/green firstly – and all its fashionable glory.

But why Kendrick? Because he’s an OG, son! Actually, no. I mean he could become one, for sure, but I think he needs a few more years under his belt for a title so grand. Kendrick and Reebok have actually joined forces to “celebrate the limitless potential of youth” via short filmReebok Presents Kendrick Lamar paying homage to Lamar’s home of Compton, CA. By using their branding power and resources, Kendrick and Reebok will use their power for good to inspire the individuality of the new generation to find their voices.

Donc mes amies à New York, Paris, Londres, Tokyo, et les autres villes, let’s help the new generation find their voices and continuously promote brands and people who encourage us to do the same.
