JAY-Z’S BIG BARCLAYS CONCERT FINALE

Jay-Z-at-Barclays-Center-in-BrooklynRapper Jay-Z christened the Barclays Center with a week-long series of sold-out performances featuring Big Daddy Kane as the opening night guest. This 675,000-square foot, billion dollar venture is the new main sports arena of New York City and home to the Brooklyn Nets, owned by Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov.

Jay-Z, a minority owner, will be live-streaming his 8th and final performance on his new YouTube channel – dubbed Life and Times – which will also double as the channels launch. You may not be there to schmooze with celebrity friend attendees like President Barack Obama, Rihanna, Big Sean, Chris Brown, Dave Chappelle, The-Dream or bask in the talent that is Beyoncé, as a finale surprise (oops… did we let that slip?), but you will enjoy the genius that is Jay-Z live.

The only question now is, will Blue Ivy make an appearance too?
