HIP & HEALTHY

Recently, I did the 12-Day GoodBelly Challenge. I love challenges. It’s like competing with myself, which build personal and emotional strength. Anyway, so I did this challenge going in slightly fearful. There are so many things on the market today that you don’t know what is what, what the long term effects are, and is there a more natural, organic way to battle regularity.

I want to clarify that I’m not a health professional in anyway, so can only speak from my experience. Let me give you a bit of background information on GoodBelly. GoodBelly is a dairy-free, soy-free, and vegan probiotic drink. Unlike many other similar probiotic brands on the market, GoodBelly’s strain survives the acidic environment in your belly – allowing it to reach to the intestinal tract.

Bet you didn’t know that did you? Some of the products on the market are so weak in strain that it can’t survive the acid of your stomach, never doing what it claims to be doing. Which is the main problem with all products that are hyped up in the media. You literally have to go through trial and error before you find something that lives up to its claim.

But enough about what everyone else isn’t doing and back to what it did do. I drank mine either early morning or late evening, and had the same result every time. My bloating went down and released my bowls (sorry… TMI), within an hour. The drink was delicious and not chalky like I originally assumed it would be. I was never able to find the BIG SHOT, but loved the juices as they were easy to transport for those mornings I didn’t have time. Then again, don’t take my word for it, take the 12-Day GoodBelly Challenge yourself.
